Squacquerone is a typical cheese of Romagna which over the decades has become its most traditional symbol. It is made from whole cow milk and has a fresh, soft and creamy mouthfeel with a sweet delicate flavour. It is usually served in bowls and placed on the table together with vegetables or jams but it is also an ideal filling for the typical "piadina" bread of Romagna, together with cold cuts or simply with a few leaves of rocket.

Some chefs use it to prepare desserts or special fillings.

It is the authentic flavour of Romagna.
